A personal look into the legacy of Maiya Tranchell Hayes. As I set out on this journey to discover what I could about this enigma. which isn't much, I’ve come to realize I can only know what someone like Maiya means to me. Besides her brief works that have recently surfaced, I include letters in hopes of getting a sense of who this magickal personality might have been, and how researching her led to the writing of Vault of Babalon, reminding me that her legacy is as far reaching and as strong as ever.
